Gavin Clinch is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who at representative level has played for Ireland, and at club level for Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Penrith Panthers, St. George Dragons, Halifax (twice), Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield-Sheffield Giants, and Salford City Reds, playing at Stand-off/Five-eighth, or Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 6, or 7.
Gavin Clinch moved to Halifax at the beginning of the 1998 Super League III season and was that year selected in the Super League Dream Team.[1] He later won international caps for Ireland while at Huddersfield-Sheffield Giants, and Halifax 2000…2001 1-cap + 1-cap (sub).[2]
